Someone told me that a pad isn't really necessary .. a good pen on a
flat surface is just as good and cheaper. I have no experience at all
with these input devices. I wanted to get an Intuos WACOM pad asap, but
now I'm not so sure. Also on their web site they are pretty much out of
stock, at least the 9" x 12" one. Anyone any experience with these pens
without a pad ?? ..
