Hi Tania,
Create an MovieClip instance, this can be empty, and place it on stage then
name it something like "placeHolder".
Now use the actionscript:
Load Movie ("myOther.swf", "placeHolder")
Just remember that the MC you load into the placeHolder will align it's top
left corner with the center point of the placeHolder.
