FLASH: Variable Problems

I am having great difficulties in refrencing my variables.  I have two text 

fields, one takes the info the other will display it at another time.  I 

cannot get the second one, the displaying one, to display the info.  


I tried:

Set Variable: "/second:two" = /first:one


But this doesn't work.  I can get the text boxes to interact while they are 

in the same mc, but I cannot get it to work when they are in separate mcs in 

the same scene or in different scenes.
