Hi Waldo,

You can just use _name as the value of a variable or use getProperty("",_a
property) to get the value of the current mc. A few examples...

Trace ("my mc name: "&_name)
Set Variable: "myMcName" = _name
Set Variable: "myMcName" = getProperty("",_name)
