Thanks for all the feedback. You folks are great.


Yes, by manually morph, I mean that each frame was hand drawn (frame 

by frame) rather than using shape tweening. The whole movie is 88 

frames. I used 2 movie clips -- one for the blinking and one for 

everything else. I didn't plan it out very well or I could have made 

it a bit more efficient.

To keep it small, I drew everything with the straight line tool and 

bent the lines, used mostly flat colors and made the figure using 

modular parts (separate pieces for head, eyes, body, arms, legs, 

etc.) and reusing symbols wherever I could.
