Hi Marie,
The problem with scenes is this.There are no direct costs for scenes however
there may be indirect ones including new additional placement costs for any
items in the previous scene's last frame that are carried over to the first
frame of the new scene.

I have done a comparison of this before and I have noticed significant
differences in my swfs as well as flas. But as a rule of thumb stay away
scenes. They really aren't neccessary especially with the functionality of
labels and movie clips as well as comment flags.
