FLASH: text: HELP

I just recently got screenweaver and am trying to use Flash to do a

screensaver for one of our radio stations.  This is all good and well.  But,

marketing wants to run special offers and coupons through the screensaver.

They want to have a text file on the web server which can be updated from

the station and to plug this text file into the screensaver.  (provided that

there is an internet connection)  


I have been having trouble with this.  I looked in the Flash 4 Bible and

through the help files.  Nothing.  The Flash 4 Bible says something like :

"It's just like plugging in any other variable."  Well, that's true enough,

except that it doesn't work and these guys are real sticklers about little

details like that.
