Howdy Flash Folks:
New to the list -- was hoping someone might be able to offer some insight
into some alignment/scaling issues. Apologies if these questions are basic
-- offlist responses are more than welcome...
1) We're trying to align a Flash movie with GIF images in a table in
Netscape Communicator. The movie continues to display shifted upward 1
pixel, and forces adjacent cells down 1 pixel, regardless of the size
settings we apply. Cell alignment in IE is fine. Is there a trick to
making Netscape behave properly? Could the problem lie in the fact that we
are composing our HTML with GoLive?
2) When using bitmap images in a movie, we're constantly plagued with
miscaled images in the final SWF file. We've turned off the image smoothing
for all the bitmaps and set JPEG compression to none, and still images
intermittently refuse to display properly. It seems we can't fix the images
by enlarging view of the working environment because any modifications made
during large magnification display incorrectly when viewed at 100% size.
Countless hours of head banging over this one...
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Regards,
Scott
