Help!

I have a movie consisting of 5 scenes. In one of the scenes is an MC
which contains a button. How do I make the button tell the main movie to go
to a specific scene (labeled in its first frame as Scene/2)

ie:
On (Release)
Begin Tell Target ("../")
Go to and Play ("Scene/2")
End Tell Target
End On

This simply doesnt work.

Ive also tried placing an action in a 'hidden frame'
(ie after the last frame of the parent scene) which is labeled ("scene2
script") as follows:

Go to and Play ("Scene/2")

and then targeting that frame from the MC:

On (Release)
Begin Tell Target ("../")
Go to and Play ("scene2 script")
End On

But to no avail.

Someone please help. Im chewing my keyboard....

TIA ;\
