Subject: FLASH: OpenFLA Project
From: Dave Broz

Hi Flashers,

Thought I might repost this message with a new subject because I have an
idea.

Wouldn't it be nice to start an open source project involving the flasher
community.
Such as building a very fast and small 3d "flash" engine that can parse a
VRML file to create a complex 3d object.
A tough idea I know but I like a challenge. There are so many ways to
approach this.

So my offer is this:

I have a server running linux and php3.
I have webspace for building a project site.
I have a very patient but lovely network administrator and web guru.
Everything can be configured.
A searchable message board etc... even chat.
I just don't have enough time in the day and way too much enthusiasm.

If I get enough people interested I can get the ball rolling... let's see if
we can get it off the ground.
So if you are interested.... all ideas and suggestions are truly welcome.

email me at openflaateleven1 [dot] com ...see I even set up a special mail account
for it. ; )

cheers
