FLASH: cgi eek problems urgent

I've heard this before and I need to be re-enlightened...  I have a swf file

calling from a cgi file thusly:


http://www.site.com/links/flash.cgi?ID=2


http://www.site.com/site/entries.swf


and it's coming up blank... I know there's a problem with stuff needing to

be on the same server, I thought...?  Could someone let me know what the

limitations are again?
