FLASH: loading movie clips HELP!

I am so confused! Loading into levels, loading into movie clips...

These are instructive scenarios that don't work. Can you tell me how

to make them work?


1. The main timeline has an actions layer. The movie is one frame long.

   The first frame of the actions layer has a frame action that says to

   load x.swf into target level 1. It never loads.


2. (New scenario) The main timeline has an actions layer and a content

   layer. The movie is one frame long. The first frame of the actions

   layer has a frame action that calls a frame labeled "Initialize" in

   a movie clip named "Scripts" that is sitting in the content layer.

   The content layer also contains an empty movie clip named "Content".

   In the frame labeled "Initialize" in the movie clip "Scripts" is a

   frame action that loads x.swf into "../Content" It never loads. It

   does however work if I load it into level 1 instead of the existing

   clip.


Please help! I can send fla's if this doesn't make sense.
