Subject: | FLASH: Simple or Impossible? |

I have searched the net for tutorials on this one, but it must be nearly
impossible in Flash.
I am trying to create the effect of a ribbon or a noodle as it might
squiggle across a page like a snake, or create the effect of a ribbon
floating down towards you in a waterfall effect so that the front of the
ribbon gets larger by perspective as it nears you.
I have not seen anything like either of these effects, and I suspect that
it may be very difficult or that you almost need to hand draw each scene.
In animations for cartoons, e.g., you probably did have to draw each
frame.
I am wondering if anyone has seen effects like these or knows how one
might go about creating this illusion without creating a processor drag
in flash with a million shape tweens.
