Subject: FLASH: Half and Half

I am working on redoing a a web page that is currently in html and putting it
into a flash and html hybrid. For the time being it is going to be mainly
html dominated but the menu system will be in flash. The menu is going to be
a hierarchical. I was thinking about putting the menu in a seperate frame
than the html p-art of the site to prevent constant reloading of the menu,
but would the frame containing the menu have to be as big as the entire
hierarchical. By this I mean that when nothing is selected it will just be a
list (see below)

This one
That one
And One More

Once clicked and expanded it will be much wider. So if I make the frame to
accomodate the expanded menu this will leave a lot of empty space when
nothing is selected. The solution is on the tip of my tongue but it just
stopped coming. WOuld I need to do something like have the Menu system be a
small movie lined up with the side of the page with a transperant background
setting?

Thanks,
Carl
