Depends on how the movie is constructed. If the user will see everything
from beginning to end, use one long movie; it will load more efficiently.
If you have large blocks of content that can be called by the user in
unpredictable order, load each block of content as a new movie. Most of us
avoid scenes because they reset movie clips and sounds, but good action
scripters get around this by using Duplicate Movie Clip, which is immune to
scene boundaries (hi there, Branden!). Learn to use the Size Report to help
you plan how your content will stream. As soon as you leave the Flash
environment, you usually lose the benefits of streaming, so try to keep as
much in Flash as possible, and try to be loading content as early as
possible so it's ready when needed. This takes lots of planning and practice.
