Is this procedure something Macromedia cooked up, or is it a standards thing? It _is_ kinda silly and convoluted to have to open an application you don't need to open an application to get things done. (Apple Data Detectors will open your email client directly, and so will most other Internet Config aware applications. There must be similar mechanism on the Windows side, no?
