FLASH: directx7 problems?

i need to upgrade to directx7 from the current 6.1a. to test the new rage

driver as recommended at

http://www.macromedia.com/support/flash/ts/documents/atirage128.htm titled

<<Items become invisible when dragged in the Flash editor>>


does anyone know if this is a

problem, since the uninstall is very hassliffied.
