FLASH: base target= failing

I've created a navigation console that runs in one browser window and is

designed to change the page in a second browser window.  Each of the links

in the flash file reference the same target name, but every time i click on

them in the .swf, they open an entirely new window to load in...


I had originally set all links clicked to do this from the IE advanced

properties, but I have unchecked that and the problem still occurs (yes,

i've rebooted since).


any ideas?
