I've had the same problem, took me ages to figure out.

When you do a tell target, all commands within it must have path relative
to the target your telling. I.e. if you're telling a target to call a
frame on the main time line you have to have "/" infront.

Mind you, there's little use in telling target to call, all variables in
the call are relative to the mc it's in, not where it's called from.

Thus calling directly or telling a target to call is the same.

Hi all...

Im still having problems targeting the main timeline from
a button inside an MC.

Ive placed an action in a redundant frame of the main timeline that I want
to call.

Here is the instance action:

On (Release)
Begin Tell Target ("../")
Call ("adamd script") - the frame label
End Tell Target
End On

But it isnt working!

Any ideas?
