If the swf'sre loaded in the same target, the previuos swf is automaticaly
unloaded.
If you use different unique targets, the mc stay in the memory unless you
unload them.

Subject: Re: FLASH: downloading ... (Projector?)
I had a question along these lines also, except it is for when using a
projector file (.exe). I have a movie/presentation that i am working on, and
it is extremely graphics intensive using bmp, and jpg graphics.... something
like 800 pictures total i think. I was told that i should make the pictures
be separate .swf's, or make a series of pictures be an .swf, and break up
800
pictures by about 20-50 per .swf file that i use. If i am running a
projector, and i were to make that same "block" of pictures into different
MC's, and then simply TellTarget them to change frames, would that
"overkill"
an average computer? Or does the projector automatically unload a MC from a
users system after it has gotten a different MC? I have never had to do
anything of this size before, and as it sits right now, if you were to look
at the files on the CD, you would see a bunch of the .swf's, and i would
rather not have those be out there and visible. I guess i'm just looking for
an easier way out..... any suggestions?
