This is definitely possible.  What Ricardo was mentioning should work in

your situation...  Your code could look like this:


Begin Tell Target ("/clip2")

      Comment: whatever actions you want...

End Tell Target


Something important (which can be overlooked easily sometimes) to make sure

about is if the mc that you're targeting is available in the playhead that

that timeline is on.  For example, if you have clip1 (mc with the buttons

in it) calling clip2 (mc with instance name "clip2"), and they're both on

the main timeline, then your playhead needs to be in a frame where clip2 is

accessible.  This would be more important in a situation where say, clip1

is buried down in few mc's and clip 2 is on the main timeline.


Other than that, just make sure that your instance name is named correctly

and the same in the script calling that instance.  Sometimes it may be easy

to have a space or something at the end somewhere or something like that

that can throw everything off...
