I don't know if there is a better way to open files 

with the default program or not, but I have a way 

that works well, and was simple to program.

if your file is in the same folder as the runner.exe

then you need to use FSCommand exec with the 

following parameters:


runner.exe "the File Name"


(Make sure to use quotes to be safe.)


It's laughably simple, but I've used this successfully 

a number of times in the past and thought I'd pass 

it on.  I hope it helps.  I'd give a Mac version a shot 

if someone wants to shell out some cash for 

Codewarrior... ;)
