Hi Franz,


If I understand you correctly, the music is not playing straight through, 

but is stopping in places when it first downloads. If you're using If Frame 

Is Loaded correctly, you should not be having this problem. So if this is a 

problem that occurs only during download, and it doesn't happen on repeat 

playing of the movie, your preloader is not done correctly. Make sure it 

functions as a loop, checking again and again until the necessary  frame is 

loaded, then moving ahead to play past the loop. In the Flash Movie Clip 

library there is a movie clip called Counter that you can put on the 

timeline so that when you use Test Streaming you will see exactly how 

playback is functioning.


If this is a problem on repeat plays (that is, after the movie has already 

played once), then it's not a preload issue at all. More likely, you have 

too much animation or action script going on for your computer to manage 

all at once, and that's why the music is choppy. Test this by eliminating 

some of the animation (just turn some layers into guide layers and explrt 

the movie again and test it).
