http://www.swishzone.com Yes, you can do many effects quickly and
export as individual swf's or one big swf (not fla though, so you have
to come back and edit in swish and reimport to Flash to make changes if
you're using the effects in another movie). Many people on the list
have it and like it. I just started using it and am having a hard time
getting the placement right in swish to match where I want it in the
final movie, but that and the lack of alignment tools are the only
negatives in my (short) experience so far.

Then it would probably be worth following up with the people at
flashtool to see if it works the same as swish. :)
