I haven't doublechecked this personally yet myself, but I'm told that when

you download the free Macromedia Generator authoring templates for Flash 4,

that the included List object can also be used in the standalone SWF you

make.


I'm sorry I'm so fuzzy on this... I'm behind on my downloads this week and

so can't speak from personal experience here yet. But if you choose the

"Authoring Templates" download off the Macromedia Generator pages, then

does that give you the type of scrolling textfield you desire...?
