FLASH: Loading images into Flash

Is there anyway to load an image into Flash while it is up and 

running? We are thinking of using Flash for our eCommerce site. 

Getting information into Flash is no problem, we just use a CGI perl 

script to control interaction between Flash and our database. The 

problem is, the custoemr has thumbnails images of their products. Is 

there a way to load a image into flash and display it. We can not 

import them every time they change the image, so it has to be 

automatic.
