... yes, but why does the LiveMotion product literature still say that it
produces not only SWF, but also GIF, like that's something Flash doesn't
do...? ;-)
(Yes, I know the qualifiers about adding bevels and doing some auto-slicing
and all, but the product literature keeps emphasizing that LiveMotion is
superior because it exports GIF and SWF. Most tools do this. If the
literature should instead say something else, then why not say that thing,
then...?)
btw, thanks for the confirmation that "aliases" are indeed a bit different
than an implicit symbol library might be... I had been assuming they were
parallel functions but now see that the difference is in when the transform
matrix is applied. I'll be better able to watch my language here now,
thanks.
(btw, "neologism" was meant more in the first sense of the online
Merriam-Webster, a "new usage", rather than the second.... ;-)
