I have verified this as a reproducible bug but there are some more
details and conditions that can create or are needed to reproduce the
bug.
As soon as I do some more testing I'll write a Tech Note about this.
There is a reason why I (and others) have not seen this problem even
though I have followed your the same exact procedure in many of my
animations. I am double checking them to be sure.

This seems to be the only solution.
