thanx. Actually that link isn't real yet. Yes, I did use layers and tell
targets. Everything is done with tell targets. The main movie (on level 0)
just acts as an interface that loads the nun movie and a new movie for each
round. Also, the winning animation and the losing animation are separate
movies waiting on parked frames. When you hit a wrong letter, a tell target
just tells the nun movie to play as well as tell targets movie clip
instances in the "round" movie to x out the letters. When you hit a right
letter, a tell target tells an invisible movie clip instance to go to next
frame. When this invisible movie clip reaches the last frame it tell
targets the winning animation to appear etc. Start by experimenting with
tell targets, that would be my tip.
