FLASH: animated button

This should be a simple yes or no question (HA!). Is it possible to 

create a button that uses different movie clips for each of the first 

three states (static,over,select)? And if it is, is there any secific 

actions that need to be set in the movie clips themselves to allow them 

to play continuosly once they are in the "button" frames? thanks in 

advance for any help.
