FLASH: Non Flash question

I apologize for posting this question here.  If someone could direct me to a

more approriate source, that would be fine.


Does anyone know if there is a file size or image size limit when making

animated GIFs that will run in Internet Explorer?  When I made a 640x480

animated GIF, it ran fine in Netscape, but would not run on IE.  My smaller

animations ran in IE.
