Thanks Arsis and Cheri. Just pawed through it and came to the startling
reveletion that "there truly are no flies on JC".
What I didn't know was you can create a "blank" MC that holds the variables
for the timeout. I always thought MC's had to have something you could see in
them. If I understand it correctly, you can tcreate a blank MC , set the
timeout length in it and ,by simply sticking it in its own layer on the main
timeline, you can have an animation finish, wait two seconds and then move on
to the next frame.
Slick, John, very slick.
Not that i'll ever ask a user to set a timeout length, but one thing I
couldn't find was how the value in the input box was passed to the MC. John�?
