Usually what I do is, create a new movie clip symbol in your main movie.
Then match the amount of layers as the movie you want to "embed" in the new
movie clip. Open up the .fla you want to embed and copy all the frames on
all the layers. Then go back to the new movie clip symbol and paste the
frames you just copied.
After all that, go back to your main movie and you should be able to drag
and "embed" it. The nice thing about doing this, is that you have a fully
functional flash movie that you can scale, tween, etc, etc.
