FLASH: zooming and levels

hi there,


The problem...


Sure that you have seen this style of interface before, just trying to

workout how to finish it off, I have a long bar, (which could consist of a

number of buttons), it shifts it's postion depening of the xVal of the

cursor and scales depending on the yVal of the cursor. What I need to be

able to do is to make it scroll horizontaly indefinately.

The way I was planning on doing it is the same way that I would do it in

Director, have 2 bars slightly bigger that the stage at the smallest zoom

factor, and then set the Right of Bar2 = to the Left of Bar 1, when it

scrolls to the left and the opposite when it scale to the right.


But at the moment I have all the movie clips in the main scene what I think

I need to do is but all of these movieClips inside another movie clip so

that I can have to bars with exactly the same properties that will always

fill the width of the stage.


The question...


How do I get all of those movie clips out of the sceen and into  one movie

clip?

I think that I'm getting confused with the target hieracy (amonst others :)


Any help would be much appricated
