FLASH: path definition & auto detect

Hi flashers!


Can anyone help me in defining in a flash project a fixed path for all the files I use? I saw something like "BASE" but could not understand how to use it... 


also, I have implemented a flash detection method for my site, wich for some reason works fine locally, and not from the server,( it seems to work fine with IE5, but not at all with NC4.7)
