Hi,
The biggest difference between Director and Flash is programming. With
Director and a lot of patient you could actualy rebuild Microsoft excel
from scratch (I've seen it once and it work pretty well). You've got to
remember that director was first built for multimedia application (eg.
cd-rom) not for the web and flash is the opposite it was first build for
the web not for multimedia application. Now both of them do both but
Flahs is still better for the web and Director for presentation.
So there what I think the general diffenrence are. Both keep in mind
(that's just my opinion by the ways) that comparing Director to Flash is
like comparing apple with orange... you will find thing that are similar
both at the core it's 2 different things.
