Ugh!...I wouldn't imagine it would be much fun trying to code a matrix
manipulation routine using the clicky actionscript interface does anyone
here remember Gupta SQL windows?

You could do this sort of thing in flash using a 3D matrix
but... *damn*
would that be some ugly actionscript.. and thats coming from
*me*! :-)

Of course you could fake it by importing or indeed drawing
multiple frames
and get Flash to cycle through the frames but I expect
you're looking at
realtime flexible manipulation?

Question?

Looks like you're looking at the wrong
plug-in. Flash
doesn't have any 3D
manipulation functions but you could try
looking at
Metastream
(www.metastream). I would imagine you'd be
able to export
from something
like 3D Studio Max and get Metastream to
render your object.

Another 3D Question?

hello all,

I asked this before and got
no response. So
I thought i
would try again.
How can i take a 3D object
in flash and have
it manipulated
by the mouse
(i.e. turned left, right,
up, down,etc) .
Can you do this
and if so do you have
a site reference or tutorial
i can refer to?
thanks for your
time.
