If you're talking about creating a SS under Windows its relatively easy to
do using MS Visual Basic. I guess you could wrap the Flash ActiveX control.
It can be done easily enough in VB in a couple of hours.
If you're a VB programmer see:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/techart/msdn_ss101.htm
<http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/techart/msdn_ss101.htm>

The code will be fat though and will require the VB runtimes, etc. Perhaps
MS should get some lessons from Macromedia in code efficiency....If enough
people want it and I get time I'll do it myself tomorrow and post it so
everyone can use it, that is if it hasn't already been done.

First off, apologies if this is a well worn path - I've
tried to find the
answer to my question through various other means without
success. Please
feel free to email me directly if this is too mundane for
this list's
discussion.

Is it possible to produce a screensaver from a Flash 4.0
movie? I know I
could port it to Authorware and create one from there, but
it occured that
there might be a more simple solution. Ideas?

Thanks in advance.
Mike
