Subject: FLASH: Generator type= question
From: Mike Chambers

I have the following code calling a Generator template file:

<OBJECT classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="http://active.macromedia.com/flash2/cabs/swflash.cab#version=4,0,0
,0"
ID=ticker WIDTH=468 HEIGHT=60>
<PARAM NAME=movie VALUE="generator/ticker.swt?type=swf"> <PARAM
NAME=quality VALUE=high> <PARAM NAME=bgcolor VALUE=#FFFFFF> <EMBED
src="generator/ticker.swt?type=swf?type=swf" quality=high bgcolor=#FFFFFF
WIDTH=468 HEIGHT=60 TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash"
PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_
Version=ShockwaveFlash"></EMBED>
</OBJECT>

If i set type=swt or don't include type, the file works fine and delivers a
flash file. However, if i use any of the types, i.e:

?type=gif
?type=jpg
?type=png

Nothing comes up. It just says that it is trying to load the file and never
does.

I am using Generator 2 demo, on NT workstation with PWS 4.

Any one have any ideas what I am doing wrong?

Thanks in advance...

Mike C
