Subject: FLASH: If "problems" = true then "kill flash"
From: Paul Watson
Date: Wed, 10 Nov 1999 13:53:51 GMT

Can someone please tell me what is wrong with this If statement in
ActionScript.

If (/:Counter > /:NumNews)
Go to and Play ("Begin")
End If

It ALWAYS returns true no matter what the value of Counter or NumNews
is.

NumNews comes from a text file read at the beginning of the flash
animation ( for example "&NumNews=5 " ). I checked if my variables work
and they do just fine

Thank you :-)
