Subject: FLASH: flash and IE5/ActiveX
From: Danny Wilson
Date: Sun, 14 Nov 1999 08:07:46 GMT

I can't play flash(3+4) on my PC when using IE5, I get the message:

This page provides potentially unsafe information to an ActiveX control.
Your current security settings prohibit running controls in this manner.
As a result, this page may not display correctly.

...and it's right! I just get a white screen. I've tried security
settings at minimum, with no change, any ideas what to do about this?

thanks, danny
