Theoretically, yes. However, you would have to have the flash movie locally
installed as an .exe, (actually...hmmm, maybe not) and at that point if
there was a virus you'd be screwed anyway.
Flash can't perform basic file operations such as reading directories or
working
out where it is on a hard drive... However, it is possible to scan for a
certain file if
you can explicitly name it... Though to be honest, I'd say it's considerably
less
dangerous that say, a word macro.


If you want to talk about security, ask a director developer. They *do* have
the ability
to use their powers for evil.
