FLASH: Netscape Plugin Problems

I'm experiencing a strange problem with Netscape Communicator. If the

browser has the Flash 3 plugin then my Flash 4 content will not display, all

that I see is a blank screen and it doesn't prompt to download the Flash 4

plugin. I have tested it on other machines and if the browser does not have

any version of the Flash plugin it will pop up a dialog box indicating that

you need to download it, just like it should. Once you download the plugin

everything works fine. I am using the Flash Only template to publish. 


The first frame of my movie contains ActionScript so I understand why the

movie is stopping and not displaying in a browser with a version 3 plugin.

What I don't understand is why doesn't it recognize that it needs to

upgrade?


Any suggestions?
