FLASH: Re: javascript and flash variables

Hey - 


I've done some work with javascript and flash - it seems to me that you will

have to use javascript, unless you want to use a small persistent frame with a

flash movie in it to store and pass the info. 


since flash can't read cookies though, and you already have a cookie solution

in place, it seems the easiest thing is just to have javascript read the cookie

back and pass it to the flash movie.  


which brings up another question I have had recently - in an event like this,

where data is being passed to a flash movie from javascript, how are people

testing to see that the flash movie is loaded to pass the variable?
