FLASH: Persistent .swfs in frame

Bear with me as this project is not mine, so I can't post it for review.

There is a frameset - 

top frame has a flash movie that is the navigation bar with drop down menu (in a movieclip)

bottom frame (main) initially has home.html in it which consists of a basic html page with 3 small swf's in a table.


Problem - 

When a selection is made from the drop down menu calling another html page for "main", it is placed correctly, but the 3 small swf's from home.html still appear on top of the new page.  (The rest of the html from home.html disappears, just the swf's remain.)


This only seems to occur in Netscape.  If you hit Reload, it displays correctly.

Unload movie has been tried, as have FS command StopPlay, and anything else we could think of.

Any ideas??
