Well, there's a whole programming language, but the strength of it is
that you can TOTALLY create your own handlers...and it's a pure object
oriented code, meaning that each object you create can have properties up
the whoohaa......properties built into lingo (ie locV, locH, rect,
mouseLoc) or you can create your own properties (speed, face, smell,
...whatever) that can be set....

it is TRULY an object oriented program that can be stretched to creating
apps like Photoshop, etc.

But to answer your question, you can send messages to javascript and
receive messages back...in fact something I want to try is not having
flash imported within Director, but embeded in the same page and having
flash and director communicate via javascript thread.
