Yes, the language is Lingo, and there are a NUMBER of books on 

this.....Bruce Epstein's Lingo in a Nutshell's a good one....Gary 

Rozenweiz wrote Using Director 7 is a good overall D7 help....to get into 

object oriented code, check out Peter Small's Lingo Sorcery.


There are also a lot of websites to help you....www.director-online.com 

is a great one as well.
