The rift in software and hardware standards at least creates
opportunities for interesting and heated discussions. Though I do agree
that maybe we should stop arguing and get a standard going. They say if
enough people shout in one direction the world will start to spin in
that direction, they also say that it would be easier to make the world
spin in one direction using flying elephants than to get more than ten
people to agree on one thing. Amen.

My two cents worth ( though its probably only worth 0.4 American cents,
damned exchange rates :) )

Hi all,

I can't believe it, I posted a message on Friday afternoon, saying I was
impressed with the Balthaser.com website. This in turn has sprouted a
horde
of replies from disgruntled Mac users and a few e-mail arguments
too.Maybe
someone should let the guys at Balthaser know about this..?

Ok, so perhaps they could have thought about a large proportion of
non-PC
users out there, or at least had someone test the site first... that is
indeed sloppy planning. As soon as "they" (Software and hardware
developers)
can eventually call a truce and create an industry standard it will make
our
(web developers) collective lives far easier. Then we can carry on with
what
we do best!
