I am aware of this. What I want to do is access a variable that is
generated in my javascript from within my Flash movie. Ie, the other way
around, rather than sending it FROM flash TO javascript, I want to send it
FROM javascript TO flash. I though about writing the javascript variable
out to a text file, but that isn't possible.

you can send variables from within flash using the FSCommand function and
then catch the call from javascript. Look at Macromedias site for exemples.
