Err.....well it's gonna take some time son!

Director can do multiuser connections, either peer to peer or through a
multiuser server.....Director can be used to make full blown
applications, web browsers, etc....so to answer your question, Director
can do more....


BUT.....

my feeling is that there will be less and less .html on the web and they
will be replaced by full flash websites....Flash itself will become the
browser, the operating system...(that's what they were touting at the
last UCON...they even showed a greyscale flash player on a palm!)...

The footprint for Flash is tiny. Now most people complain about Shockwave
download times...I cn understand that, but that's usually the developer's
fault rather than the medium....of course the message is the
medium...er...never mind...

so if your company is interested in cutting edge and functional websites
then I think Flash would be the way to go. Flash is more ubiquitous but
Director can do more. Hard to explain but I see Flash as the regular
Aliens and Director is the queen....but then again, I'm insane.
